The relevance of the course “Sustainable Tourism” is determined by the growing importance of tourism as a strategic sector for sustainable economic development, regional competitiveness, and social inclusion in the context of globalization, climate change, digital transformation, and the transition to green and circular economy models. Under contemporary socio-economic conditions, the ability to design, manage, and evaluate tourism systems in accordance with sustainability principles has become a core professional competency for specialists in tourism, economics, public administration, and regional development.
